Camper Daniel
About
A SPECIAL MEMBER OF L&P FAMILY
Meet Daniel — a camper that holds a special place in Pavel's heart.
We dreamed of building this camper for a long time. We wanted to create a unique and comfortable camper for travelers who appreciate the comfort of this vehicle and still love the feeling of tent camping.
We know you’ll be driving quite a bit to reach the wilderness of the Canadian Rockies, and Daniel will make every kilometre enjoyable. With an impressively low fuel consumption of just 8.5L/100 km, he drives smoothly and efficiently.
Pavel upgraded the pull-out kitchen so you’ll have everything you need on the road — a premium Dometic fridge with freezer, two-burner stove, water tank, cookware, and plenty of space for your backpacks. And, of course, there’s the spacious king-size rooftop tent where you’ll sleep like a bear.

Great van, well finished and comfortable to sleep in. We rented the van for 4 nights as a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 9 and 13. The main bed is large and very comfortably sleeps 2, but could fit a 3rd smaller child. Although the table turns into a twin bed that could fit 2, we felt this was a little squashed for 2 bigger kids, so we had our 9 year old sleep on a thermarest in the main walkway under the main bed. There is a spacious area under the queen, but you need to be willing to fit thru the space to get to it. Need to take a little lamp to see in there. It can also be accessed via the back doors. We camped off grid and relied on the solar panels for 4 nights. We had enough power to keep the fridge going and the fan on at night. Overall, great experience and we loved having the van. Lucie and Pavel are great and are very helpful, informative and easy to work with. Thanks so much to them for all their insight into how to buy our own van.

Occasionally in life you get lucky and everything you plan falls perfectly into place. Organising our trip in Mr Cap was just one of those rare occasions.
First of all the booking process was super easy, the price was great and we were excited for our trip.
Picking up the van was incredibly easy and very well organised, with Pavel giving us a great introduction to everything.
Whilst we were in the van on our trip in the rockies the van was just perfect. Honestly you could not ask for any more. It’s a smooth, easy drive. There’s everything you need in the van and it looks awesome!
But what really makes the whole experience is that the people who run the business - Pavel and Lucie - are two incredibly nice people. Pavel took the time to drive us back to our hotel, then as if that wasn’t enough, waited for us and drove us where we needed to go in Vancouver. To top it off he gave us a free tour of the city. What a guy! Seriously though, Pavel is probably one of the coolest guys you’ll ever meet.
If you rent from L&P not only are you getting an amazing vehicle but you are supporting a family who are working hard to built a great business.
Thank you both for such an amazing trip. I wish you all the best in making L&P even better and more successful!

My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to rent a camper van from L&P last summer. Lucie and Pavel were very helpful answering any questions we had, and we had a lot since it was our first time renting or even driving a vehicle bigger than a car. We got to take Simona (yes all their vans have names which we thought was very cute) for a week long adventure thru the sea to sky corridor. Camping in Squamish and whistler, the van was so easy to drive and setup once we found our site. It comes with everything you could ever need tucked away into a convenient cubby or drawer making it easy to find. The layout of the van is perfect for moving around and making dinner to when its time to pull the bed out and get some sleep. We are both looking forward to renting again from L&P in the near future! Hopefully we will take it winter camping to really test it out.
