Mr. Cap is ready for the camping season 2026! We worked hard on a new interior design made with real wood and we added a few upgrades to make your travels even more comfortable.
This camper van has an amazing consumption of only 10L/100km (24 mpg)! The solar system allows you to charge your devices anywhere you go. Two roof ceiling fans provide fresh air circulation during the summer nights and the air-condition will keep you cool if driving on hottest days in BC. It is fully isolated, and we installed a strong diesel heater so that will keep you warm in case of cold mountain nights.
Mr. Cap sleeps comfortably 4 passengers so we would recommend it to couples or families with kids on the first place. A large main bed for two (165cm x 189cm) with a proper mattress fold in to provide you with more space inside if you need to cook or change your clothes. A second bed can be set up underneath the main bed and will comfortably accommodate another 2 travelers. The lower bed is foldable and removable. In case of 2 travelers only we’ll remove the bed, and it will provide you with lots of extra storage. For example for your mountain bikes! Pavel designed an interior bike storage that can fit 2 bikes. If you need it for your holiday, choose that option in add-ons.
A large size freshwater tank provides enough water for cooking in fully equipped kitchen – large fridge, 2 burner stove top, pan, pot, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, French press etc. Both front seats swivel to sit you around a huge inside table and let you eat and play cards inside the van on rainy days. The table also folds down to give you an extra space if needed.
Mr. Cap is 9ft tall and 19ft long - you will need this dimensions for your ferry reservations.

We rented a campervan (Mr. Cap) from Lucie and Pavel in early September for a stay on Vancouver Island. They have young children and were one of the few companies that we found that could accommodate what we wanted in a campervan rental. They understand what it's like to have little ones and we felt safe renting from them.
The campervan was easy to drive, spacious, very clean, organized and well equipped. The design of the campervan was well thought out from the location of lighting and charging ports to the bed and kitchen layout. There was plenty of space for our kid to play in the campervan while we cooked or cleaned. They also had top quality materials in the build. Pavel's cabinet making skills really shine.
The whole process of renting from them was very smooth. Lucie is super friendly and was there to organize the logistics of pick up/drop off and offer extras that we might find useful for our trip. Pavel was available if we had any questions about the campervan during our road trip. Very accommodating.
You can see that they have transformed their passion for travel to include family. They have built a lovely fleet of campervans to share this passion with others to enjoy. We look forward to renting from them again someday. Thank you for helping make our first big family vacation a hassle-free and memorable one.

FANTASTIC RV!! Rides smooth just like a Mercedes should. Definitely very well maintained vehicle. Inside is a beautiful hard-wood interior custom built and absolutely amazing. They thought of everything you could need! Does have the older smaller diesel engine so don't expect to be in the fast lane going up highway hills, but honestly when you drive this beauty you don't want to go fast. Highly recommend this RV for anyone looking for a small-medium sized RV that is very maneuverable, reliable, comfortable, and built to get you almost anywhere in BC. Enjoy!

We had such a good time with Mr. Cap during our 3 weeks trip on Vancouver Island!
It was really a pleasure to rent from L&P. In the months prior to our vacation, Lucie took care of the practical stuff and was very helpful in answering any of our questions. On the day we picked up the van, Pavel gave us a very detailed explanation of all the functionalities of the van before we started our trip. From the first moment we felt comfortable and safe driving the van on the road.
The van is not only beautiful, but also very well designed from a functional point of view. It contained everything we needed: 2 spacious double beds which were very easy to install, more than enough usb ports and an electricity socket to charge the camera battery, a large inside dining table for the rainy days, camping chairs, a kitched unit with fridge/ freezer/ stove/ sink with large water reservoir, 2 ventilators to get fresh air during the nights, solar panels (we never had to plug in on the campgrounds), … .It was more than spacious enough to comfortably fit our family of 4, and even our luggage for 3 weeks fitted in the cabinets. During our trip we got a lot of compliments from other campers on the van, unfortunately we always had to say it was not ours?...
We had a great time, and also our kids really enjoyed this experience. If we would come back to Canada, we would definitely rent again with L&P. Lucie and Pavel are both very warm people and go that extra mile, they run their business with passion and we could feel that in every aspect of our rental experience with them.
