This camper van has an amazing consumption of only 10L/100km (24 mpg)! The solar system allows you to charge your devices anywhere you go. Two roof ceiling fans provide fresh air circulation during the summer nights and the air-condition will keep you cool if driving on hottest days in BC. It is fully isolated, and we installed a strong diesel heater so that will keep you warm in case of cold mountain nights.
Jack sleeps comfortably 4 passengers so we would recommend it to couples or families with kids on the first place. A large main bed for two (165cm x 189cm) with a proper mattress fold in to provide you with more space inside if you need to cook or change your clothes. A second bed can be set up underneath the main bed and will comfortably accommodate another 2 travelers. The lower bed is foldable and removable. In case of 2 travelers only we’ll remove the bed, and it will provide you with lots of extra storage. For example for your mountain bikes! Pavel designed an interior bike storage that can fit 2 bikes. If you need it for your holiday, choose that option in add-ons.
A large size freshwater tank provides enough water for cooking in fully equipped kitchen – large fridge, 2 burner stove top, pan, pot, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, French press etc. Both front seats swivel to sit you around a huge inside table and let you eat and play cards inside the van on rainy days. The table also folds down to give you an extra space if needed.
Jack is 9ft tall and 19ft long - you will need this dimensions for your ferry reservations.

We would strongly recommend L&P Camper Vans for anyone looking into a British Colombia trip. With Barb, our trusty camper van of choice, we traveled around British Columbia for six sunny weeks checking out amazing mountain bike trials and having a great time. For the majority of our holiday we stayed at campsites and found the camper van to have everything we needed, which for such a long holiday is saying something. We really appreciated how easy the vehicle was to drive, the comfortable bed, ample storage and a good-sized fridge.
You get a personalized and friendly service from Lucie and Pavel, who are fantastic – from the big things (providing a great bike rack, which for a mountain bike holiday was a massive help) to small things (showing us how to use all the features of the vehicle and keeping onto our bike bags to give us more storage room in the van).
We found that a camper van like Barb was at home in the mountain bike world, with other mountain bikers either having a similar set-up as Barb, or coming over for a friendly chat to check out our camper van.

We had such a good time with Mr. Cap during our 3 weeks trip on Vancouver Island!
It was really a pleasure to rent from L&P. In the months prior to our vacation, Lucie took care of the practical stuff and was very helpful in answering any of our questions. On the day we picked up the van, Pavel gave us a very detailed explanation of all the functionalities of the van before we started our trip. From the first moment we felt comfortable and safe driving the van on the road.
The van is not only beautiful, but also very well designed from a functional point of view. It contained everything we needed: 2 spacious double beds which were very easy to install, more than enough usb ports and an electricity socket to charge the camera battery, a large inside dining table for the rainy days, camping chairs, a kitched unit with fridge/ freezer/ stove/ sink with large water reservoir, 2 ventilators to get fresh air during the nights, solar panels (we never had to plug in on the campgrounds), … .It was more than spacious enough to comfortably fit our family of 4, and even our luggage for 3 weeks fitted in the cabinets. During our trip we got a lot of compliments from other campers on the van, unfortunately we always had to say it was not ours?...
We had a great time, and also our kids really enjoyed this experience. If we would come back to Canada, we would definitely rent again with L&P. Lucie and Pavel are both very warm people and go that extra mile, they run their business with passion and we could feel that in every aspect of our rental experience with them. Thank you Lucie and Pavel for helping to make this a memorable vacation!

Our 11-day trip to the Rockies with Mr. Cap was a stunning experience, we loved everything about it. Mr. Cap was easy to handle, had the perfect size and all we needed. Mr. Cap's lovingly furnished and well thought out interior made it easy for us to really feel at home. We loved the home made furniture that had a pleasant woody smell, found all sorts of necessary utensils for camping or for the kitchen and also technical things like the many USB ports in the right places were well thought out. Although we were more than lucky with the weather, we were more than happy about the heating for the nights. The communication with Lucie before the rental went more than smoothly. She was always so nice, helpful, supportive and answering quick to all our questions. Pavel took time to explain everything about Mr. Cap in detail, was super personable and for us it was exciting that he gave us local insights and tips. We can absolutely recommend L & P Camper Van. I can now imagine no other form of vacations anymore than with a camper van. Coming back to Canada and renting a van at L &P again is definitely a dream. Maybe then with Ms. Cap…
