James is our most recent camper van conversion, finished in 2026. The newest Sprinter van model in our fleet.
It has an amazing consumption of only 10L/100km (24 mpg)! The solar system allows you to charge your devices anywhere you go. Two roof ceiling fans provide fresh air circulation during the summer nights and the air-condition will keep you cool if driving on hottest days in BC. It is fully isolated, and we installed a strong diesel heater so that will keep you warm in case of cold mountain nights.
James sleeps comfortably 4 passengers so we would recommend it to couples or families with kids on the first place. A large main bed for two (165cm x 189cm) with a proper mattress fold in to provide you with more space inside if you need to cook or change your clothes. A second bed can be set up underneath the main bed and will comfortably accommodate another 2 travelers. The lower bed is foldable and removable. In case of 2 travelers only we’ll remove the bed, and it will provide you with lots of extra storage. For example for your mountain bikes! Pavel designed an interior bike storage that can fit 2 bikes. If you need it for your holiday, choose that option in add-ons.
A large size freshwater tank provides enough water for cooking in fully equipped kitchen – large fridge, 2 burner stove top, pan, pot, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, French press etc. Both front seats swivel to sit you around a huge inside table and let you eat and play cards inside the van on rainy days. The table also folds down to give you an extra space if needed.
James is 9ft tall and 19ft long - you will need this dimensions for your ferry reservations.

Me and my Girlfriend rented a campervan (Jack) for a two week trip to BC, which included a wedding and various outdoor sports. Jack was a great campervan, incredibly spacious and cleverly done, with all the added extras you'd want for complete comfort. The bed is really comfy, the fans help keep the van nice and cool and I'm sure if we'd needed to use the heater, that would have been great too! L&P had provided the van with all the essentials you might forget, including a complete kitchen set, outdoor seating and a table and even bear spray should the need arrive. A great two person or 4 person family van, I'd recommend Jack and L&P to anyone wanting to visit BC with a Van.

We would strongly recommend L&P Camper Vans for anyone looking into a British Colombia trip. With Barb, our trusty camper van of choice, we traveled around British Columbia for six sunny weeks checking out amazing mountain bike trials and having a great time. For the majority of our holiday we stayed at campsites and found the camper van to have everything we needed, which for such a long holiday is saying something. We really appreciated how easy the vehicle was to drive, the comfortable bed, ample storage and a good-sized fridge.
You get a personalized and friendly service from Lucie and Pavel, who are fantastic – from the big things (providing a great bike rack, which for a mountain bike holiday was a massive help) to small things (showing us how to use all the features of the vehicle and keeping onto our bike bags to give us more storage room in the van).
We found that a camper van like Barb was at home in the mountain bike world, with other mountain bikers either having a similar set-up as Barb, or coming over for a friendly chat to check out our camper van.

My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to rent a camper van from L&P last summer. Lucie and Pavel were very helpful answering any questions we had, and we had a lot since it was our first time renting or even driving a vehicle bigger than a car. We got to take Simona (yes all their vans have names which we thought was very cute) for a week long adventure thru the sea to sky corridor. Camping in Squamish and whistler, the van was so easy to drive and setup once we found our site. It comes with everything you could ever need tucked away into a convenient cubby or drawer making it easy to find. The layout of the van is perfect for moving around and making dinner to when its time to pull the bed out and get some sleep. We are both looking forward to renting again from L&P in the near future! Hopefully we will take it winter camping to really test it out.
